• We're Dog Heaven LLC

    An animal sanctuary in Woodland Park. Our mission centers on creating a resort-style haven for dogs, cats, and horses that are at high risk of euthanasia. We also help provide temporary foster placements for dogs while their owners address difficult life circumstances, such as medical treatment, addiction recovery, or housing loss.

    Our commitment extends beyond the 1300 acres of the sanctuary's property. Actively engaging with the community, we share insights and stories to foster a deeper understanding of the incredible beings we care for. We believe in creating connections that have a ripple effect greater than the physical space of our sanctuary.

    Every day, we work towards a future where every creature experiences unconditional love and security. Witnessing tails wag and purrs of contentment from animals that will never know the walls of a shelter again keeps us relentlessly dedicated to our mission and grateful for every moment.

    We believe every animal deserves a second chance—especially those deemed "unadoptable." Our mission is to create a sanctuary where rescue dogs, cats, and horses can live in peace, free from fear and uncertainty.

    Our Mission is two fold, the first part of our mission includes creating a sanctuary where rescue dogs, cats and horses can live in peace, free from fear and uncertainty. The second part of our mission is to give people hope who are going thru crisis situations and need temporary boarding for their beloved pet.

    We believe hope is one of the main elements of healing when people face crisis and having their family pet be taken care of without the burden of finances or uncertainty can give someone the extra edge they need to better themselves.
